Friends of Scouting

Friends of Scouting are those persons and entities who truly care that the Boy Scouts of America has come into their awareness.  Think about it, were the Boy Scouts of America not to exist, where would you now be?  Where would that young man so important to you be?  Where would Tulsa be?  Where would America be without the programs, the facilities, the people of the Boy Scouts of America?

What makes a significant difference in the life of a young person are the values that form his or her thoughts, words and deeds.  The Boy Scouts of America and its Venturing arm teach positive values to young people!  If they aren’t presented those values by the Boy Scouts or a Venture Crew, will they have them to pass on to their own children?  In our role as parents and caring adults we seek to ensure that every youth has the chance for a positive future.  The Friends of Scouting program is an effort to assure that sufficient funding is available to provide the programs, facilities and staff to more than 28,000 Scouts and Venturers and more than 6,000 volunteer leaders to attain that positive future.  A more significant investment rarely surfaces!  Make a real difference by helping the young people of Indian Nations Council and its Venturing Program through Friends of Scouting!

Please note that Crews/Posts are being permitted to raise F. O. S. money in any (legal and ethical) manner they please, so that these are merely recommendations:
